I don't know what it is about Parov Stelar, but their music has been a real inspiration for me.

The idea for the next one revolves around the BLU Scout, "Mike Adlerberg". His real father died when he was young, and then he discovers that his mother has had a relationship with the RED Spy (who is different than Francois from FYI I'M A SPY). To overcome the guilt of his mother's actions, he strives to be the best baseball star. He's so fast they call him a "flying eagle". His running talents are soon recognized by none other than Builders League United... we all know what that means... But of course, there will be some surprises. Perhaps he'll encounter the RED Spy who disgraced the Alderberg family?... We'll see!

I've also decided to name the BLU Engineer who appears in my work "Rhett Wilder". He has this thing for ducks. It's a reference if I've ever seen one. *cough*

In addition I want to make a short, <3 minute clip of my friend (lowCeiling) fantroll, just for fun, even though I really don't get Homestuck. He's reminds me a bit of the Engineer and is an interesting character (and I'd really wish he'd just strip the fantroll status from him, and make him his own character... oh well).

I think I got overambitious with FYI I'M A SPY, and this one will share REVENINEERING's focus on the music over the storyline.

Ideas? Thoughts? Comments? Feel free to respond.

PS: Thank you Newgrounds, for giving me the inspiration to try harder and do better!

Much more influential than the Deviantart community?

I would say so. I found them to not really help out much at all. Most of it was just "THAT'S GREAT" along with tops 500 views on my more serious works. It appalls me that WELCOME TO DEVIANTART, something I literally whipped together in 50 minutes, has more views than REVENGINEERING did before I took it down (about 1,600 compared to 350). I found an audience here as opposed to deviantART, and they're listening, and helping.

That's a big reason why I moved.

From comments I've read on different works done on DeviantArt, my impression is the regulars from there do seem to be the easily amused person type so they hardly give a chance to other works aside the first ones they saw. Newgrounds does have its good share of those too, but the more critical and analytic users appear here more often and help far more from what I've seen so far, so.. maybe it's true.

Ironically, following that belief, I can see why many artists transition to DeviantArt or come back to it, maybe they felt too harsh the critics they got here. Though there's also the ones who were simply unlucky to be flamed constantly by the dumb guys that stay around here and which sadly also save junk submissions.

Yeah, that's true. I crave criticism though and I know that if I put my best effort towards something, most people will take the time to recognize it so that I can improve.

BTW, loved your submissions so far. Sorry for that double post.

Perfectly okay, happens to everyone.

mmhmm you animation are fanfuckingtastic i was thinking im not telling to do it is just a recomendation if you going to make pyro can he be a mexican. Theres rumor about he a mexican so well good luck.

Can't wait to see the new flash! =)

I love your overall design, especially how your flashes tie in with the music. Seeing has how music influences my writing and any other work I do, I respect what you're doing. Revengineering is definitely one of my favorite flashes on this site, and I'm anxious to see your next piece. FYI, I'm a Spy was great as well, but didn't have as much as an impact as your first piece did. I loved the story and flow, but it didn't capture the same feel as Revengineering. I'm sure that if you combine the two, you'll have a true masterpiece on your hands. Definitely looking forward to the Scout flash, especially since that is my main class in TF2. I wish you all the luck! By the way, I have to thank you for introducing me to Parov Stelar. I've been looping their music for the past few weeks.

i like your stuff so far. i like the whole silhouette style thing you've used

I'm really looking forward to it!
BTW Thank you for introducing me to Parov Stelar.

Um... o_o OK that was weird, ignore my last comment...

I'm sure it will fantastic, you're so talented with this! :) If you want some ideas though, try not to use too many gradients, because you want nice, popping colors as opposed to slow-fading ones.

Thanks for the advice :D

Much love <3

Nice, really like these TF2 character music videos! But, may I ask, why the last name 'Adlerberg'??? This is very similar to the last name of someone that I know, so it surprised me to see the name.

Thank you!

Adlerberg (I actually spelled it wrong later lol) comes from the German word for Eagle, der Adler. Since he's known as the "flying eagle" for his swiftness, its quite applicable.

I would advise to watch out for ''burning out'' doing one and only one concept. You never know when the feeling of ''ohemgee, i cant stand working on the same thing over and over again. CBA''

You, and only you, has the final say on at what pace you do your work no matter how much your fans like your work. You can also expand to other concepts other than TF2 videos to slightly alleviate the above feeling.

Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, usually I just listen to music and whatever comes comes; I pick the song and whatever idea is there, regardless of theme, is what's done. There's a few other things I've been thinking about trying but the ideas just aren't as strong (at the moment) as this one.

I like your animations, they flow amazingly with the music you've chosen, i'm definitely keeping an eye out for your flashes; but as Hazeling before me said, be wary. A line you said in your post was you were going to focus more on the music than the story, now i hope you don't mean you're going to not bother with the story because i loved the idea of giving the spy a backstory, i felt i got to know your spy, better. Looking forward to your pieces, Best of luck.

It doesn't mean I won't have a story. It just means that I'm going to focus on the beat more.

Even Revengineering had a story, but it was pretty weak. Scout's story isn't as complex as the Spy's but its still there, and is an important part of it.

my god your god like ty for the awesomeness

Your work pleases us. This wont go unrewarded.

I love your style, and your choice of music! Because of you, I now listen to Parov Stellar while I study! Also, I am currently using that picture you posted up (the guy with the bat) as my desktop background. I hope that's okay! Please keep up the great work!
