ARCTIC SEA DINER.

I'M WORKIN' ON IT, I estimate about a week more of work and it should be out.

In other news, it will be my first project with ACTUAL VOICE ACTING (although not my voice, but rather a friend's, Marcusdranz, who's not on Newgrounds in an active account).

Here is a RIDICULOUS preview of the end logo. It shows a mysterious new character that the girl (Matilda) befriends. He seems to be associated with cardinals for some reason, like Matilda is with crows. The actual logo part of the animation will probably be used in future animations, minus the silly bits.

Also, Twisted4000 is providing his animation talents for a small part of the credit sequence. Could this mean a collab sometime soon? Who knows!

EDIT: It is COMPLETE! :DDDDDDDD

A Release Date is Soon!

Although going slowly, Arctic Sea Diner is indeed making progress. I'm near finishing the sketching, so expect a release soon.

Just thought I'd update and let those know that I'm not dropping the project.

Questions, comments, feel free to reply.

Progress

I now have a tumblr, which you can visit here. There's not too much on it right now, but it'll serve as a dumping ground for my extra stuff and previews, if anyone is interested.

Despite the lack of popularity from my most recent animation, Event Horizon, I still feel inclined to finish the two part series, as it is an expression of myself that none of my other videos truly achieves. With this one I'm having a slight change in direction by giving it an actual story, but a heavily symbolic one nonetheless.

The Artic Sea Diner is a small diner where a mysterious girl dressed in black arrives. She goes order some food and play some music on the jukebox, but discovers a friend along the way. Both are rudely interrupted though as a dragon destroys the place, and thus the two join forces to defeat the dragon.

While Event Horizon focuses on mainly on denial, Artic Sea Diner will focus more on acceptance.

I really hope that no one around here is worried for my physical well being because it's about self discovery more than anything. I'm not living on my own, or disconnected tied from my mother, or anything super severe like that. I might reveal the more succinct meaning sometime but as of now I'm fairly uncomfortable revealing to the masses what it is.

I'm fairly certain when I overcome my personal difficulties that I will start making more video game related videos, but at this point this message literally secretes from my pores and I cannot contain it any longer.

But a surprisingly amusing incredible waste of time!

Well, I'm over my last hurdle, namely because I'm going to be obtaining an evaluation for what I need to check out this Wednesday so it's no longer really bothering me.

Since my friend's birthday is coming up in about a month, I've shifted gears to make him something for his birthday. Since he's a huge fan of Homestuck, that'll be an important part of it. I won't be posting any other updates to keep both him and everyone else hidden on the full piece :)

I'll still be using a similar style but it'll have more colours.

Wings of Glory is still suspended at the moment, I really do want to continue it but I'm in a bit of a rut in terms of creativity for that.

In the meantime

You know, at Chuck E. Cheese's, they play a remix of "Everyday I'm Shufflin" sung by the big mouse himself. I kinda wish they had this version instead.

Yeah, that's right, I do commissions.

Up to $20 for up to 3000x3000 pixel artwork or hand drawn artwork of up to 9"x14". For hand drawn art, I also offer sending a signed original if the commissioner pays for shipping. Please reference the stuff I've uploaded for what I usually produce.

I'm currently trying to raise money for a medical evaluation that I would not like to go into detail at this point, so if you'd like to get anything from me, give me a holler. I don't mind a bit of haggling if my initial prices don't work out for you.

This loose price format may be formatted later as I get more familiar with working with commissions.

It should be noted that I WILL NOT DO ANY FLASH COMMISSIONS WHATSOEVER. The reason is because the process in me making a flash is very difficult to force upon me, so sorry to say, it won't be happening. I don't mind doing small animated avatars or things like that, but a full out flash is out of the question.

In other news.

I might be shifting flash projects in the meantime. Kind of have a different attitude so I might either drop Wings of Glory, or pick it up later when I'm a bit more inspired.

To keep yourselves entertained, have a fairly random animation of Eridan I made a while back.

I've been dealing with some personal issues lately which have been absorbing me and preventing me from concentrating on my work. Sorry for any delays. I'll make another post when I feel they've been settled enough for me to continue work.

In the meantime, you can spend your time looking at this less than glorifying picture of myself. Yeah, I'm a girl, funny how most people forget that. I guess I'm just not really... eh... girly. That's a good thing I would think.

With Built to Last completed, I feel inclined to continue the series.

While working on the project, I found some fantastic tracks by Parov Stelar, including this one that just SCREAMS Soldier. It was so inspirational that it was a tad distracting from my last project!

Who is the protagonist of our new story?...

John Diere (Birthday August 4th, 1940, age 27)

Younger than his RED counterpart Jane Doe, America-lovin' Commie-hatin' John Diere is a master at sports. In fact, back in Washington High School, being the best guy on the football team, he would woo the ladies everywhere he went. But High School is long gone, and he's been struggling to get a job after he's kicked out of multiple colleges. Desperate, he seeks a position at Builder's League United, to train for becoming a soldier. An exceptional warrior, everything seems to be going well, until he is captured by the REDs. Will John survive?...

Comments, questions, ect.? Feel free to respond.
